This healthy baked chicken recipe is just as easy as any chicken breast recipe out there. Tasty and fitting for almost any occasion, lemon pepper chicken is adored around the world.

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. (175 degrees C)

Heat the olive oil in your skillet over medium heat. Then, add the garlic and allow it to cook for about one minute. Proceed to add lemon zest, lemon juice, basil, and salt and turn off the heat. Allow for the mixture to stand while you prepare the chicken.

Using a paper towel, dab the chicken breast until they are dry. Season the chicken with pepper.

Place the chicken breasts in the skillet to get a nice brown on each side.

Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish covering them in the sauce. Cut your lemon into either wedges or circular slices and place them on and around the chicken breasts as you desire.

Bake for thirty to forty minutes or until the chicken is cooked thoroughly.
